Salty Western: Out of the Saddle
From the saddle to Honolulu Chinatown nights, an island girl learns quickly that one good bag has to keep up with every version of her day.
Dust from the ranch. Salt from canoe paddles. And sometimes, a late-night walk through the lantern-lit streets of Chinatown.
Life in Hawaiʻi moves between worlds. One moment you're working leather in the quiet of the morning, the next you're rinsing salt from your skin after paddling, and before you know it the city lights come alive.
That rhythm is the spirit behind the Salty Western bag.
Designed to move effortlessly through every part of the day. Crafted from vegetable-tanned leather with solid brass hardware, it's built to age beautifully—softening, darkening, and collecting stories along the way.
Like the women who carry it, this bag is meant to go from the saddle to the sea, and all the way into Chinatown after dark.

Island Girl Everyday Favorites (and a Few Wishful Dreams)
Here are a few of my everyday favorites—along with a couple wish-list pieces that live rent-free in my daydreams. I also love supporting chic Hawaiʻi brands whenever I can.
One of my favorite shells has always been the Hebrew cone. The black and white geometry feels like elegant treasure pulled straight from the ocean floor. Whether set in a bangle or a pair of earrings, it's the kind of piece you can dress up or down—ranch dust to dinner downtown.
The Supergoop Glowscreen is another everyday hero. It gives that natural island glow while still providing coverage. Honestly, I wish they sold this stuff by the gallon.
Now… the Hei Mini Pikake lei. Ugh. So stunning. The diamonds—sheesh. Can a girl dream of Tiffany's? Actually… scratch that. This is better than Tiffany's. A true Hawaiian heirloom. Timeless.
Future husband, if you're reading this—this is literally all I want for my engagement gift. Just saying.
For the everyday steal, Baby Lips by Maybelline will forever be my go-to. The perfect glossy hydration with a soft plum-pink tint. For $7 it makes me feel like I still have enough money in the bank for that Hei Pikake necklace.
The Ua Body Mele scent smells like Hawaiʻi bottled up—pakalana, tuberose, ferns, ti leaf. The roller makes it easy to toss in your bag for a quick refresh when you're running around town.
The Lōulu Radiate AM Elixir is my little morning push. A probiotic blend for all the everyday baddies who need a little spark to get the day going.
And jewelry—always jewelry. Hammered Egyptian brass cuffs are such an exotic statement piece. Every collection needs one.
To finish it off: a good cat-eye pair of sunglasses. Fun, always sophisticated, and somehow they work just as well with a trucker hat as they do with a red cocktail dress.
Welp… thanks for letting me daydream for a minute.
